The Epson C831 is built to handle years of large-volume printing in commercial environments. It features a rear in/front out, 8-pin tractor feeder to keep media moving smoothly, which reduces jams and increases accuracy. The printhead is designed to be permanent, and it is well protected from dust, eliminating maintenance hassles and ensuring reliability. Print speed is variable, with a draft mode, normal mode, and super fine mode. Maximum speed is 16.5 pages per minute or about 3.6 inches per second. The Epson C831 produces large, readable labels with a printable area of up to 8 inches by 22 inches, but can also print labels as small as 0.5 inches.
