The Primera LX Series inkjet color label printers produce high-quality labels that can include photographs, logos, text, and graphics in full color as well as linear and 2D barcodes. They are well suited to create labels ranging from barcodes for small consumer products to GHS-compliant labels for chemical drums. These printers are an economical choice, because you can print only the labels you need, as you need them.

Models for Every Application

The Primera LX Series includes three models suitable for a wide range of needs:

The LX 500 can print labels up to 4 inches wide at speeds up to 3 feet per minute. It is the most compact model in the series, and it uses a single ink cartridge of cyan, magenta, and yellow (CMY) resulting in higher ink saturation. The LX500c model is also available, which adds a built-in guillotine-style cutter. The cutter can also handle tag stock for applications such as meeting and ID badges.

The LX900 prints labels up to 8.25 inches wide at speeds up to 10 feet per minute. It features Primera Imaging PerfectionTM printing technology for super-sharp labels. It has individual cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink cartridges (CMYK, dye or pigment), so you only replace what you need, keeping label costs low.

The LX2000 also prints labels up to 8.25 inches wide at an even faster speed of up to 30 feet per minute. It features high-speed USB 2.0, Ethernet 10/100 Base-TX, and wireless 802.11b/g/n connectivity, and a built-in pizza-wheel cutter. This model also has separate CMYK cartridges but uses only pigment-based inks for the most durable labels that comply with GHS standards and ratings such as BS5609.
